Nelayan Restaurant was initially opened to introduce the authentic Indonesian cuisine that is not limited for Indonesian migrant workers, international students and tourists who crave their hometown cooking. The first branch was opened in the bustling suburbs of Hawthorn at Glenferrie Road, and the years later on the second branch was opened in the heart of Melbourne CBD, Swanston Street.
